This is the deep groove RVG-etched “P”-pressing of Lee Morgan “Sextet” on the Lexington Ave. Labels of Blue Note BLP 1541. The beaded rim playing surface is in remarkable near-new condition, with just a small area of storage splotching that creates three tics at the intro to Side 1; perhaps played once. The coated reverse frame Lexington Ave. cover is virtually in new condition - bright, clean, and immaculate in every respect - with sharp corners and unworn seams. Personnel include Hank Mobley, Kenny Rodgers, Horace Silver, Paul Chambers, and Charlie Persip. $1500.00.
