Item Description:

Special Services Entertainment Division, U.S. Army Records (mfg. by Cardinal Export Services) CEC LP 11 - East Of Underground/Soap 2 LP set released in 1971. This is not a re-issue, it is the original release.

This record has been well documented and reissued.  According to well respected authorities like Dante Carfagna there are just 10-15 known copies in existence. Musically the album is well worth the hype as well. The playing is top notch and the vocals are just beautiful.

Unlike the reissue, the original record is a double album where East Of Underground is paired with Soap (a psychedeic rock) another contestant in the Special Services Entertainment Showband Contest of 1971.

The condition of the records is still sealed in the original shrink wrap, unplayed, MINT.  The gatefold cover is in excellent near mint condition minus; there is shelf wear on the upper left corner. No cut corners, no holes, no seam splits, no ringwear. Tight spine.
