Item Description:
Special Services Entertainment Division, U.S. Army Records (mfg. by Cardinal Export Services) CEC LP 11 -East Of Underground/Soap 2 LP set released in 1971.
This record has been well documented and reissued, but none have turned up. According to well respected authorities like Dante Carfagna there's just 10-15 known copies in existence. Musically the album is well worth the hype as well. The playing is top notch and the vocals are just beautiful.
Unlike the reissue, the original record is a double album where East Of Underground is paired with Soap (a psychedeic rock) another contestant in the Special Services Entertainment Showband Contest of 1971.
