Tonight & tomorrow evening I have at auction a number of rare Tubby Hayes, Zoot Sims & The Jazz Couriers UK original LP’s including mega rare TEMPO LP’s.
These albums all belonged to a professional Jazz musician now in is eighties and have been lovingly cared for, all are in at least excellent condition, in fact some could be deemed as “Nr. Mint”
Released in 1957 on offer here is the ULTRA RARE!! UK debut album by THE TUBBY HAYES QUINTET titled “….AFTER LIGHTS OUT” on the TEMPO label No TAP 6
This was Tubby’s UK debut album and is rarely seen in any condition, this one is excellent and as stated previously was part of a large collection of Jazz albums of a now long retired profession Jazz musician.
What makes this one more interesting is that it’s a Sample copy.
The quintet were Tubby Hayes (Tenor Sax) Dickie Hawdon (Trumpet) Harry South (Piano) Pete Enfield (Bass) & Bill Eyden (Drums)

Vinyl, good as it gets EX++ condition, labels too nice and clean, just showing a few spindle marks.
Fully laminated flipback cover , other than a tiny bit of laminate lift and a small scratch on back also in EXCELLENT condition.
