Description

TUBBY HAYES QUINTET "After Lights Out"  LP TEMPO TAP 6.   Recorded  <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />July 5, 1956, London. Label: Tempo. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

Tubby Hayes (Tenor sax ),  Dickie Hawden (Trumpet ) Harry South (Piano), Pete Elderfield  (Bass), Bill Eyden (Drums).

INCREDIBLY RARE ORIGINAL Tempo LP.    Serious BIDDERS ONLY please.

Condition of the record -

  1. EXCELLENT. As far as I can see it is near-mint but always hesitate to use that description. I have not played the record at all and it has always been safely stored. It comes in its original plastic inner with an additional paper inner I understand is also the original. (Please see the photos).

Condition of the cover -

  1. EXCELLENT. There is a little  'ring-wear' as the vinyl can be seen outlined on the cover at the front. The rear also has this but is slightly less apparent.

  2. There is very light creasing (and I mean 'light') around the edges towards the spine. the laminated cover is still superb and has no visible wear/marks

Side A

  1. Ode to Ernie

  2. No, I Woodny't

  3. Foolin'  Myself

  4. Nicole

Side B

  1. Message to the Messengers

  2. Hall hears the Blues

PLEASE NOTE: FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY used for Pictures hence 'white spot' in photos only - sleeve is UNBLEMISHED and as described above.

I have never played this lp and therefore have listed it as unplayed. There are NO visible scratches or marks that I can see. There are faint marks on the vinyl that look like they originate from its actual pressing. It is a beautiful artefact and needs a good home.
