Description

Very rare indeed! An early Top Of The Pops BBC Transcription disc. This is number 28, released in May 1965.

These discs were pressed in small quantities and sent to commercial stations across the world. Most were destroyed after the broadcasting rights expired. The fact that some have survived at all is a minor miracle.

The artists on this disc are:

Billy J Kramer and the Dakotas, The Foremost, Brian Poole and the Tremeloes, The Animals (this was Alan Price's last session with the band apparently, and there's an interview with Eric Burdon) and last but not least, Tom Jones.
