Description

SAM RIVERS - FUCHSIA SWING SONG, Blue Note 4184, 43 West 61st St on jacket, New York USA on labels, "Van Gelder" & "ear" symbol in runoff grooves.

Condition of record is VG+, no scuffs, no scratches, no spindle marks, plays clean & quiet. Jacket shows some ring wear, some fraying around edges, beginning seam split lower right. Stain from old price sticker on back.

This 1964 masterpiece was Sam Rivers' debut recording. His band includes Jaki Byard (piano), Ron Carter (bass), Tony Williams (drums).
