!!EXTREMELY RARE!! THE BEATLES White Promo 45 FROM ME TO YOU /THANK YOU GIRL - MAY 1963 - VJ 522
White Label Promotional Copy with gray outer rim and oval logo. Thin Print. Issued May, 1963. DJ Copy . Printed on labels is "Disc Jockey Advance Sample" & "Not For Sale".
Vinyl and Label are VG++. Some hairline scratches (paper scuffs) from taking it in and out of the sleeve. NO Skips, Repeats, Warps, Writing or Marks on Labels. Plays Beautifully.
Hand etched Matrix 63-3218/63-3219 - I did my best to photograph the Matrix # but, it’s difficult to get these to photograph properly. (see pics).
I believe this was the first record The Beatles released in the USA. Only around one thousand were pressed as it did not chart very well. Of course, that was until their Ed Sullivan appearance eight months later in February, 1964. Vee Jay then re-released them, flooding the market.
