THE BEATLES - PLEASE PLEASE ME - MEGA RARE UK PARLOPHONE DEMO 45
ORIGINAL 1963 UK 1st Issue Parlophone Red A label Demonstration Record 45-R 4983 complete with Top Pop Sleeve !!
This was the very first Beatles No-1 single and is arguably the most sought after UK Beatles Demo in the world today with only 200 being pressed!!!
Both sides of the record labels are printed with the Parlophone Co Label Rim, Demonstration Record Not For Sale and Dick James Music.
Matrix is as follows:
A-Side - 7XCE 17217-IN with M PT 2 vertically at 9:30 and 0 at 3.00. B-Side - 7XCE 17218-1N with M PT 2 vertically at 9:00 and GG at 3.00.The letters MT (Tax Code) are embossed to the centre of the B-side record label.
The record has a few hairline scratches on Side A and plays EX. Side B also has a few hairline scratches and plays VG+.
Both sides of the vinyl are shiny and play with no skips, jumps or distortion.
The Side B label is clear but side A has 'TX' written on it 3 times.
A beautiful copy of this VERY important & RARE Beatles UK demo record in a Top Pop promotional sleeve! A real piece of musical history and a real investment.
