Description

 

A rare Beatles single sided 10" Uk Emidisc acetate for the song 'I Will' from the 1968 Lp ’White album’. This is an interesting demo disc which contains different lyrics and longer version of the song (1'49).

Almost the same as the one released on the 'Anthology 3' but the ending is different.

On the label of the first side has a sticker: BBC RADIO (LONDON).

The blank side of the disc shows the Emidisc manufacturing stamp which has been scratched.

It comes in a white sleeve.


Condition of disc :

The playing surfaces have lots of light marks but nothing major.

There are background noises throughout and from 1'24 a stronger crackeling noise can be heard often until the end but no skips or jumps. The sound quality on the whole is still enjoyable.

The look I would grade Very Good but the playing quality is even better.


Proof of originality:



I don't have Certificate of Originality but I'm sure that the acetate is original and I can prove it.

I have some more acetate from different bands (Beatles, R. Stones, Applejacks... etc). I took some Beatles acetete to a well known auction house (Christies's) where after and expert carefully checked them they went on sale and all of them were sold.

Also I have some Beatles acetates and those originality were confirmed by the sound engineer who made them .

This Beatles acetate is from the same collection. I can prove all the above information and the buyer can be sure that the acetate is original.
