BEATLES -Any Time At All - EMIDISC ACETATE
On offer here is a UK acetate of the Beatles, "Any Time At All". This 7”, one sided, 45 r.p.m. mono acetate has Emidisc label
with the handwritten title and cut by Emidisc London. As I know this song has never been released as a single in the UK and was
released on the "A Hard Day's Night" lp by Parlophone in 1964 . On the other side of the acetate there is the same song as on the
labeled side,but it is not complete (at 1'45 suddenly discontinue).This acetate version is the same as the commercially released one.
This disc (which has got typical smell of acetate) is not in as perfect condition as the other acetates you can see on Ebay ,however ,it
is a rare item. .Visually graded VG , plays better.As with most acetates of this age, it has got a lot of surface marks. There are no
serious scratches, no skips or jumps.Usual background crackle throughout.
This acetate (similar to my other acetates on ebay) came >from a collection that was a part of inheritance. I managed to buy this collection a few years ago. As I know the original owner worked for EMI,Germany.I have no further information of its origin.
