Description

This is the original deep groove RVG-etched “P”-pressing of “Sonny Rollins” on the Lexington Ave. labels of Blue Note BLP 1542.  The flat rim playing surface is in near-new condition, with a high luster; perhaps played once.  The original coated West 63rd St. frame cover is in extraordinary condition – bright, clean, and immaculate throughout; light rubbing on the seams; ½” wear on the bottom seam, at the opening.  Personnel include Donald Byrd, Wynton Kelly, Gene Ramey, and Max Roach.  $1,000.00.
