Description
Bach: Prelude from Partita no. 3 in E major
Played by PABLO DE SARASATE.
Recorded in Paris, 1904; Matrix 4258 u
This briliant performance was originally issued on G&T 37931. The beautiful single-sided vinyl 78 offered here was pressed during the 1970s from the original metal master. When played with the correct stylus, such vinyl pressings play with a clean and quiet surface and will sound better than original G&T pressings. Condition: Excellent.
I have worked in the field of audio restoration for over 30 years and have produced more than 500 commercial LP and CD reissues. Many of the records in my personal collection have found their way on to CD reissues and now, I feel it is time to begin letting some of them go.
I have been collecting and enjoying records for most of my life and I know the importance of proper grading. I have tried to evaluate the records accurately, especially how they sound when played.
