"NO HOME TODAY” b/w “MISTER NUMBER ONE"
Their only 45 on U.K. CBS RECORDS 'A' lable DEMO issue # 4276 from 1969.
Here's one HIGHLY regarded and very rare British heavy psychedelic single release, an enormous one that's high on the wants-lists for most discerning collectors!
It's a two-sider that has been compiled on Real Life Permanent Dream and Perfumed Garden compilations.
Try finding an original copy.... ah, well you just did.
This is also in STUPENDOUS condition too - a true gem of rare British psych and in top shape!
Not essentially 'freakbeat', this wonderful slice of dramatic guitar-loaded sound-scapes represents the best of what is truly PSYCH, predating the progressive era that was yet to fully emerge.
A 45 which can be seen on a par with such as The FACTORY 'Try A Little Sunshine', SERENDIPITY 'Through With You' and THANE RUSSAL 'Security' on this lable - or Tintern Abbey's 'Vacuum Cleaner' on Deram. Anyway, a stand-alone rare gem single like this may not come around again, and especially not in this shape.
(incidentally, the last one seen on eBay was from a Russian seller who did not have the record & was just trying to steal people's money!)
CONDITION
The vinyl here is NEAR MINT. A TOP quality player, with absolutely FULL shine.
Lables are SPOTLESS clean NEAR MINT, no tears, no writing, no stains!! Release date in the intact centre as 30th May 1969.
