Mega rare original LP of Miles Davis Volume 1 (Blue Note 1501 - mono) Original issue blue and white Lexington address labels with Deep Groove, RVG, flat edge and ear on both sides. Also no trademark "R" on either label. Miles' first 12" Blue Note sessions also feature Jackie McLean, Jay Jay Johnson, Art Blakey and others in a Blue Note classic that no serious jazz collector can be without.

The LP is in VG/VG+ condition with marks that will definitely make noise - not for the audiophile in any way - you will definitely hear noise on this one. The cover is in VG condition with general age/shelf wear, tape (old) on all seams and a torn area at the bottom that was previously covered over with tape (see the photo) NO writing, NO stickers, NO stamps. Definitely NOT perfect, but how many Lexington Blue Notes do you see anymore at this price.

The LP will be carefully packed using professional materials (over twenty years experience safely selling jazz LPs around the world). Mailing costs as calculated below to a U.S. address. Overseas winners will be quoted the appropriate mailing rate at the close of the auction. Shipping discounts for multiple items sent together.

Paypal accepted or write for other payment options. Serious bidders only - payment must be received in ten days from notification. All items guaranteed upon return in condition sent, but mailing costs are NOT refundable.

Thanks for your interest and good luck.
