The story goes that the engineer wanted to get sound levels. Rabin started the Paganini and immediately everyone realised it was something special and within a fraction of a second conductor orchestra and soloist were as one. It was decided to issue the take for its perfection and sheer driving pace. As one listens to it, it is indeed one of those great moments in the recording history of the violin - thank you, Michael Rabin.

This is a NM condition original FULL DIMENSIONAL STEREO SOUND 12" LP on Capitol Records SP8510 A 160 gram pressing. The record is in NM condition, plays great, listened to this completly, a wonderful recording. looks very clean and shiny, includes the original FDS inner sleeve. Unless otherwise noted,records are spot played and visually graded. Each unsealed LP carefully cleaned on a new VPI HW-17F professional record cleaning machine and is carefly packed and mailed in a new LP carton.a new poly jacket cover and if needed a new poly lined sleeve.
