Description
Lucy Reed, The Singing Reed, on Fantasy 212. Deep-groove mono original, red wax. Strong VG+ to VG++ shape overall, though one scratch at the end of Side 2 causes some light ticking for the last several revolutions of the final song. Cover shows light general wear, couple of chips to the spine, some age discoloration on the back, which also has a tiny stain at the bottom, not intruding on any text.
Note that I am currently selling a superb collection consisting heavily of mid-century jazz and vocalists. These records were kept in magnificent shape by their owner, so check my other auctions now and over the coming weeks.
GRADING
M- A flawless or nearly flawless record that appears to have seen little or no play.
VG++ Superb record, full gloss with a few superficial marks that do not sound.
VG+ Full gloss, light marks or scuffs, but an attractive record that has seen limited play and has been well cared for.
VG More marks and scratches, but still a decent record. Scratches may be fairly numerous, but will be light.
VG- Lots of marks and scratches but no gouges or major problems. Not a beautiful record, but still serviceable, not junk.
G+ and G Heavy wear and marks, plays through okay.
SHIPPING
Overseas Air Mail is $14 for the first record plus $4 for each additional record.
I pack LPs in professional mailers, with the disk in its paper sleeve outside the cover and both disk and cover housed in a three-mil plastic sleeve.
