Dark red label with silver text. Deep groove, red vinyl, original issue. Vocalist, Lucy Reed sings on 12 tracks. 3 of the tunes are arranged by George Russell (also on drums) and includes Art Farmer, trumpet; Romeo Penque, flute, obeoe; Sol Schlinger, baritone sax, bass clarinet; Don Abney, piano; Milt Hinton, bass. 3 other tunes were arranged by Gil Evans who also plays piano and includes Jimmy Cleveland, trombone; Bill Pemberton, bass; Penque, alto flute, English horn, Tommy Mitchell, bass trombone; David Kurtzer, bassoon; Harry Lookofsky, violin. Other tunes include Eddie Higgins, piano with others. Tunes are mainly standards with fine jazz arrangements.

Record: VG+ or Better Visually shows no wear. No markings on the vinyl surface. On Side 1, there are a very few clicks on Track 1 and a few clicks at the end of Track 3. Also, a few light clicks at the beginning of Track 4. A few very light, random clicks on Track 5. The noise described is slight and in the background. There are also some random clicks on Track 6 with a short passage of light groove noise. On Side 2, 1 light click on Track 1, 2 or 3 light clicks on Track 3, 1 faint click on Track 5. Some irregular light clicks throughout most of Track 6. While this noise is audible, it is also in the background. This random noise is not unusual for records pressed in red vinyl. This issue probably has less noise than most red vinyl records. Audibly checked.
