Usually only found on later shiny re-issue Track labels or as a a 1980's mid-budget priced double LP , this record is impossible to find on the original 'matt textured' UK 1st press Track Record Mono labels.  The labels are Near Mint, superb with NO Peeling, NO Lifting NO Grubbiness and NO unwanted writing/scribbles of any kind. Just the most minor light spindle lines!!! The centre spindle holes and gramophone rims are also Mint-!!!

The quality thick & chunky Mono 1st press vinyl looks an sounds absolutely stunning, it weighs a ton and is simply Nr Mint!!! And remember - this is the earliest Mono 1st press, straight from the master, it therefore sounds much louder, defined and punchy than all the weaker Polydor re-pressings.  I cannot emphasise how very difficult it is to find 1st press copies of this LP that have not been played to death, on the rare occasions that the do turn up they are full of nasty scratches and gouges and sound terrible; wrecked by the harsh blunt mono needles of the 1960's. This one is NOT - It is Visual and close to aural Perfection!!! This record is in absolutely stunning pristine Nr Mint condition!!! Visually, the record still retains ALL its original gloss and shine and has NO dulling and NO nasty greying of the grooves!!! There are no scratches, hairlines or scuffs. And there is no warping! There are just some virtually invisible paperlines (simply caused by removing the record from its inner sleeve) that in no way sound and are invisible unless tilting the record toward very strong light. I am very pleased to state that this is a record that also plays as good as it looks!!! It it has NO jumps, NO skips, virtually NO between track crackle and NO nasty loud pops!!! There is just some crackle on the run-ins that all but disappears when the record kicks in, and can just occasionally be heard as very light occasional static on "Castles Made of Sand" and in between tracks, but less so as each side progresses. The thick quality pressed chunky 1970's vinyl looks and feels great (it is very heavy!). I have no hesitation whatsoever with grading this vinyl as a very strong Near Mint!!! Its as simple as that!!! (suitable for the highest grade Mint- collection - you will not find a better record!!) Absolutely beautiful!!!

The Gorgeous David King & Roger Law designed - ORIGINAL E.J. DAY FLIPBACK GATEFOLD SLEEVE is in superb CONDITION, very close to Nr Mint!!! The flip-backs are PERFECT, beautiful and tight with NO un-sticking, NO folding back, NO peeling and NO creasing, there are one or two of the most tiny laminate creases on the inside of the flipbacks (I am being very fussy here-but like I said I want to give as honest a description as possible). The famous psychedelic E.J. Day outer still has ALL ITS ORIGINAL GLOSSY LAMINATED FEEL!!! The laminate is so pristine it almost almost looks 'wet' in appearance and glistens as it would have done from new!!! Most of us have seen pictures and images of this legendary sleeve but I CANNOT STRESS HOW AMAZINGLY COOL LOOKING THIS SLEEVE IS WHEN YOU ACTUALLY GET UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL TO ONE IN THIS CONDITION, with cool vintage thick laminate and the infamous psychedelic artwork - IT IS AWESOME!!! The sleeve lies perfectly FLAT and CRISP with NO RING WEAR and a good strong spine and Mint- straight opening edges with NO feathering at all (very, very rare for this sleeve)!!! It has NO edge wear at all!!! There is some corner wear present but it is only a very very light rub on the top and bottom left corners which is hardly noticeable (see images) The back side is also in awesome condition, it still retains ALL its glossy laminate sheen, both back AND front and is completely unblemished save for one or two very small laminate creases coming out from the edge. The matt inner gatefold is also in on STUNNING condition, absolutely beautiful with the laminate flip-backs forming an awesome contrast with the inner matt finish.  It has the correct Mono/Stereo text printed on the bottom right flip-back. This sleeve easily grades as a full Excellent+++, if not better!!! Please check my feedback before bidding to see that my grading is always accurate!!! The record comes COMPLETE with its POLY-LINED WINDOWED INNER SLEEVE which is also in awesome Near Mint shape, lying nice and flat with NO nasty creases at all, NO unwanted writing/scribbles and NO separating of the inner poly-lining!!!.

The original and Mega Rare orange Poster/Lyric Insert in superb Ex+++ Condition!!! When these do show up, they are nearly always fully covered in tiny annoying dimple-like creases. it was a flaw of the thin paper used to print the insert. However, this one is not!!! It retains all it's smooth just pressed finish!!!  I cannot stress how rare it is to find one of these LP's with its original insert, let alone in this STUNNING condition. There is just one solitary storage crease to the top corner and that is is! Only a one or two hundred of these inserts were ever made to accompany the original 1st pressings of the LP. This is by far the best example of this very rare insert I have seen - most are missing/trashed or annoyingly creased.

Not much else to say really except don't miss this one as you will NOT FIND ANOTHER UK MONO 1ST PRESS COPY OF THIS AWESOME AND VERY RARE LP IN THIS CONDITION AGAIN. THESE RECORDS - IN THIS CONDITION AND COMPLETE WITH THE MEGA RARE LYRIC/POSTER INSERT - ARE IMPOSSIBLE TO GET HOLD OF NOWADAYS. THIS RECORD IS RIGHTLY KNOWN AS ONE OF THE BEST PSYCHEDELIC ROCK ALBUMS EVER MADE, IF NOT THE BEST!!!! AND A COMPLETE 1ST UK PRESSING IN PRISTINE CONDITION SUCH AS THIS IS A VERY SOUGHT-AFTER RECORD AND A VERY SERIOUS INVESTMENT FOR THE FUTURE, DON'T MISS OUT!

I will be selling my entire UK 1st Press collection of 1960/70's Psych/Prog./Rock & Folk over the coming months, most of these records are in Mint- condition and have 3-figure book prices. All will be listed here on eBay UK at a £2.99 start with No Reserve - bookmark my pages. Refunds & Feedback ... Please read this carefully ... We try to give you the best quality examples of rare records available. However, there will always be somebody out there whose expectations far exceed UK record collector grading standards.  If you are in anyway unsatisfied with your record or our grading of it please refer to the UK Record Collector Grading Chart very carefully BEFORE emailing us. We strictly adhere to it and will only offer refunds (minus the postage AND our eBay costs) if we are satisfied that we have fallen below UK record collector grading standards. This will very rarely, if ever, happen. We will not be impressed with buyers disputing our gradings without even bothering to check the UK record collector grading standards chart first - you have been warned ...

Buyers who continually Haggle, Whine and Moan to try to decrease the price they won their auctions for will be blocked from bidding on future auctions and can toodle off down to HMV or Virgin where they can harass the counter staff there.

We will always leave feedback upon receipt of feedback. In an ideal world we would like to leave feedback as soon as the record has been shipped but due to feedback blackmail in the past (i,e, ",,,I want a partial refund or I will leave negative feedback") we have opted to take this measure. Contact must be made within 3 days of winning the auction. If payment has not been received after 10 days a non paying bidder alert will be placed. If payment is then not received within 7 days Negative feedback WILL be left and the buyer WILL be given a strike by eBay. Thanks for reading.
