This auction is for a STILL SEALED, UNOPENED and NUMBERED 3 of 5 MH Original boxed set of the Classic Records Heiftetz Audiophile 45 RPM Series Complete Recordings. This Road Case has special significance and collectability because it comes from Classic Records’ founder Michael Hobson’s personal archive.CR 1001-45 (includes all 33 one-sided records, with original covers and road case)
In 2007, Classic Records outdid themselves again with the ultimate Heifetz / RCA recordings collector’s 12” – 45 rpm edition box set. The production of this box set is in the same vein as the legendary Classic Led Zeppelin box set. All nine Heifetz titles previously issued by Classic Records at 33 rpm were made available as single sided 12" 45 rpm releases on Classic’s proprietary 200g Super Vinyl Profile. In addition, the 33 discs that comprise this deluxe edition were housed in the now famous Classic Records Road Case. This limited edition set is now a highly sought after collectors item. Every album was mastered directly from the original master tapes.

Each title above includes authentic reproductions of the original sleeve art & labels with the additional discs housed in individual white jackets, presented in a heavy duty road case.
A very limited number of these boxed sets were produced and sold out almost immediately upon announcement of their availability and no more were made. This unopened set came directly from Michael Hobson’s (founder of Classic Records) personal archives of Classic Records titles and is numbered 3 of 5 MH. Of further significance is the fact that Hobson was an absolute fanatic and insisted that his archive copies be “hand selected” from pressings that came from the first stamper, but only after the first stamper had broken in. He personally chose the best copies for each record. This means that the five known Hobson sets are the "creme de la creme" and represent the absolute pinnacle of desirability and collectability. Further, this set has not been moved from the climate controlled air-conditioned storage for all these years. This unopened box set is in the factory sealed outer carton as shown in the pictures. This box will be shipped in another outer box with careful packing to ensure that the road case and its outer box are kept in new condition. Additionally, this set comes with a letter of authenticity signed by Michael Hobson to insure future value.
