The Beatles Malaysia - The Beatles "Greatest Hits" 33 rpm LP.

Ultra rare, hardly ever shows up for sale!

The record is great!

EX in every aspect!

The labels are well preserved though there is very faded writing on each side - so faint that it took me years to even notice it until I was  getting information to put details in the categories section.

Each song has a really great sound for a pirate record company pressing - zero skips, not much hiss in the background (although it seems - and I've noticed this for many of different Thai & Malaysian records - some songs start out with a "slightly lower audible tone" and then quickly, after perhaps 2 seconds, the songs retain their strength of sound. I am unsure - and I will probably never know, why this is. My guess is that during the audio transfer from copyrighted albums, 45s, EPs, etc. that the cheaper record recording machines -  reel to vinyl transfer, vinyl to vinyl transfer - that something just wasn't right - poor engineering perhaps!

The sleeve is VG

There is a stain of sorts on the lower right corner section of one side - and there are "whiteout" symbols or perhaps another owner whiting out written words of the previous owner. Only a few which are quite visible in the photos. The corners are a bit dog-eared but nothing terrible. There are some bends and "wrinkles". There are no seam splits or rips, and the bright green color still retains it's muted vibrancy.

All in all, it is a very unique Beatles pirate record company Greatest Hits release - perhaps the most unique one I have possessed or seen photos of. The song selection is awesome - covering the band's hits from the very beginning to the very end of their career together.

I love that they used the photo from the early 1967 photo session during their Kent stay or time just around that period of filming the "Strawberry Fields Forever" video. Maybe it was a few week later during the filming of the Penny Lane video.

Either way, with the beautiful green color surrounding the bands image, it's SIMPLY AWESOME!!!!

As I do, please judge the sleeve most of all with your own judgement of grading. I try in every case - every record I list, to state both the great quality of the record and also the defects; to the best of my ability.
