Description
Short description... Original first East Coast pressing mono record with the first state torso cover.
Vg+ cover with some discoloration and wear with solid seams and spine.
VG or better record with multiple light scratches and scuffs and two small but feel-able marks. Light spindle marks on the label.
Long description..... Very hard to find pressing of this classic album. Not play tested. I've been selling records on eBay for over 20 years using visual grading and Goldmine standards.
The cover has a well peeled banana with no signs of damage from the peel. The outer spine shows wear but is still fully legible. The seams are solid with only a hint of split at one corners edge. Multiple thin creases near the spine in both sides. The rear has some ring-wear noticed. An ink stamp and pencil mark on the right corner. The interior of the gatefold has discoloration and a tear towards its center at the spine. VG+
The record itself shows multiple light marks and scuffs on both sides. Some are long. I could only find two feel-able scratches though there might be others. Both are small, maybe a millimeter. One on side 2 track 1. The other one is on the same side track 4. Appears to lay flat with no obvious warp. No Deep Groove East Coast pressing with etching in the runoff. Needs a cleaning. VG or slightly better.
The labels have a fair amount of light spindle marks. Period correct Verve sleeve.
