1st U.S. Pressing The Velvet Underground & Nico
—Released in 1967 under Verve Records.
This is a Gatefold w/ unpeeled banana infamous artwork done by Any Warhol —This version contains an image of actor Eric Emerson's torso Airbrushed on the back.
Jacket Graded (G+) Gatefold features, water damage/stains over front /back/insert/ also internally but not as severe as shown under listing. Slight at the back insert —noticeable discolorations on both sides. But no tears, or split seams. Features original sleeve. Has a “Stereo” sticker on the back —Order than that, this nice piece of American history holds decently strong.
Vinyl Graded (VG+) one or two visible hairlines, however, no skips, scratches, no pops or background noises, but remarkable clear system throughout all tracks. It was tested with our ORTOFON cartridge needles, to perceive that hi-quality audio lucid sound from that golden era.
Verve Records there’s a couple of black dots in side 2 —order than that both labels seem clean and solid without damages.
