Description
Rare original press. This has all three of the rarites with this lp, Mono, Banana on the cover and the Torso on the back cover. First let's do the cover. There is a tear in the yellow banana made of tape on the top about 2 inches down, but still the entire yellow banana is on the cover. There is a cut out hole in the lower left. For a white cover it is still quite clean considering it's age, but there is a little wear. The back cover looks very clean. and shows very little wear. There is also a little sticker marking on the top right of the front cover. All in all it still looks good and I give it a vg++. The record looks very clean, Verve was never known for their audiophile pressings. If I just gave a visual it looks close to a mint minus. The lp plays vg++ and there are some light crackles in the quiet parts and the quiet songs but not on the entire lp. The lp still has that great shine and still looks excellent. Record number is V 5008 in glorious Mono.
