Description
The Story
Well, here it is...you have a shot at a complete Sub Pop Singles Club set! These records are highly sought after, and after several stable years, have been skyrocketing in value in the past year or so. Here is your chance to assemble the complete set in one shot! Let me give you the complete details of what you would be bidding on, should you choose to partake in this fabulous auction.
1. First off...you get (almost!) every entry in the first run of Sub Pop's legendary Singles Club V1, which ran from November 1988 to December 1993. Please note: there is NO Love Buzz 7" included here. Adding that one in would price out some bidders interested in the rest of the singles. Also, I don't have one at the moment. You get every other entry in the series.
2. If a color vinyl version exists for a single, you will get one...well, for almost all of them. I do not have a blue SP121 (Alice Cooper tribute double 7")...they are tough to find right now, and I still need one for my personal collection. For every other release, though, you get the (or a) color vinyl version!
3. There are several releases in the set for which you will receive MULTIPLE colors of vinyl - in most cases, this means the color version and the black version (except for Rollins, where you get BOTH color versions). Included in this subset are: Sonic Youth/Mudhoney split, Lonely Moans, L7, Dwarves, Babes in Toyland, Rollins Band, Unsane, Soundgarden, the Reverend Horton Heat and Velvet Monkeys...so you would get all existing colors of vinyl for some of the heaviest hitters in this set. Here's a picture that shows the multiple entries:
4. Condition: I try to be as honest as possible about condition. If I see anything wrong, I note it. In some cases, you might not even be able to see places where I have cited "very light surface marks." That said, condition details are based on visual inspection. If I saw anything questionable, I played the record. I did remove a few 7"s with sub-par conditions from the batch and replaced them with better ones. Only the best for my buyers. : )
5. What you see is what you get. The pictures included below are the actual records you will receive, should you be the lucky winner.
6. Payment/shipping: there are further details below, but I want to reiterate a couple of key points. First, I now ONLY accept Paypal. I tried to work with other methods, but met with problems with all of them. Second, insurance is REQUIRED. This set is very valuable, as you know, and we should both have the peace of mind that it is covered in case one of our postal systems fails us. Insurance starts at $12 and goes up as the price increases. I will send you an invoice upon completion of the auction.

You BOTH BLACK AND YELLOW copies. This yellow one has some marbling, but is still somewhat transparent (unlike the straight yellow marble versions).
