Description
This listing is for a pre-owned limited edition picture disc vinyl LP of the album by the New Wave band Blondie called Parallel Lines.
It was released in the United States in 1978 by the label Chrysalis with catalog # CHP 5001.
It's housed in a cardboard sleeve with a round front cut out to display the picture disc through.
The record itself is in good condition with moderate signs of surface wear.
I would grade the record itself most likely as a mid-range VG+.
Although it should be noted that the sound quality of this picture disc is not as good as the regular vinyl version. But this is just inherent to the picture disc manufacturing process, especially when it comes to older picture discs.
The sleeve does have obvious signs of age and wear.
This includes typical corner and edge shelf wear, along with spots of cardboard creasing and some small blemishes.
But there are also some tears in the cardboard near the round cutout opening on the front (see photos).
There is an interior seam split on the bottom edge of the jacket as well.
The cardboard stiffener piece that inserts into the sleeve is also included.
The jacket has somewhat of a musty scent, so it may have been stored perhaps in a basement of some kind by a prior owner.
I would probably grade the jacket as a VG or VG-.
The record will come housed in a replacement poly inner sleeve.
