Ultra Rare Y/B Parlophone LP
Ultra rare UK Rubber Soul album with silver "stereo" print on front cover. Some sources say a limited number of the "silver stereo" copies were made for export to the US. Other experts say they were printed in extremely limited quantities for various other reasons. In any case, you are looking at a very rare and highly sought after piece of Beatle history. The term "very rare" is thrown around rather loosely these days when dealing with Beatles albums but in this case be assured it is highly accurate.The album has an awesome mix, sounds great, plays through extremely quietly with only very minimal light sporadic surface noise. The surface noise is so minimal I almost didn't mention it . When held under bright light the vinyl shows some slight surface marks and scuffs, It retains most of it's gloss. The labels are in very nice condition.
The jacket is a Garrod & Lofthouse and is laminated on the front and on the right side and upper and lower rounded flaps that wrap around to the back side. It has no splits, rips or tears on the spine, top or bottom. There is some thumbage creasing on front near the opening on Ringo's face. (see pics). The white back of the jacket shows some wear and a bit of discoloration and staining here and there. (see pics) The LP comes with it's original EMI red & white late sixties inner sleeve. Please look at the pics carefully as they are part of the description. I would rate this LP easily a solid very good plus.
