The Beatles 'Now And Then' - FYC ("For Your Consideration") Grammy Voters Only Media Package
This rare kit was sent only to Grammy Voters and is marked "Promotional Use Only."
7” vinyl single featuring the songs 'Now and Then' on the A side -- label features the classic green apple signifying Apple Records -- and 'Love Me Do' on the B side. A beautiful piece for any collector.
Record is hand-etched near the label on either side of the record with the following: "Miles. Abbey Road 1/2 Speed. Room 30 // 5V(?) // BN90756-01 A^ // 4814586" and "Miles. Abbey Road 1/2 Speed. Room 30 // 5+(?) // BN55777-01 B^ // 4814586" These are typical engineer markings, in this case by Miles Showell, engineer at Abbey Road, who cut the master. 1/2 speed mastering allows for incredible audio quality.
Original packaging featured, including the cassette tape presentation box with its outer plastic sleeve and the Media Guide booklet. Record also includes the paperboard record case with outer plastic (it has been opened with care), paper inner record sleeve, and descriptive paper card which explains the history behind this incredible final Beatles song. See photos for included items. Imperfections: There is a small crack on one corner of the box's plastic outer sleeve, as well as scuff marks and a small dent, and a handful of tiny spots and smudges on its label. The box itself bears some watermarks/spots which I originally believed were a stylistic choice but now I realize are likely imperfections. The record bears no scratches.
