*MEGA RARE* The Beatles 'A' demo single.
This is a rare 1967 UK Parlophone **WHITE A LABEL** Demonstration vinyl 45 single for The Beatles 15th UK single, released on the 7th of July 1967.
This is a 100% genuine demonstration vinyl 45 single, on the Green with White 'A' Parlophone Label on side 1, and the Green Parlophone Label on side 2, both record labels have the release date of ( 7. 7. 67 ) printed on both sides.
Both record labels are in very clean and undamaged condition, all the printed text is un-faded and clearly legible, without any hand writing or sticker residue etc, all that is visible are a few signs of play to the centre spindle hole.
The machine stamped matrices Side 1: 7XCE 18425-1, and side 2: 7XCE 18426-2.
The official machine stamper lettering and numbers on Side 1: KT 2 GG, and side 2: KT 1 GA.
There is an embossed ‘KT’ Tax Code visible to the centre of side 1 label.
Both sides of this amazing demo are in great condition; very nice clean vinyl sits perfectly flat and the turntable, surfaces have no deep scratches to either side. There is 1 hairline to side 2 see pic, not feelable and no impact on play quality which is very clean on run-ins and outs. There are no skips, pops or clicks etc Otherwise a really great sound quality from this super rare demo. Given the environment these appeared in, this must have had only a few plays and then archived at a very early stage.
Beatles demos in any respectable condition are becoming increasingly impossible to find in terms of collecting, and are considered to be at the TOP of any Serious Beatles collection, – not to be underestimated this rare Beatles Demonstration Record can only increase in value over the coming years, this is a very nice example, and plays with excellent sound quality.
