Description

Hi, and welcome to psych_out! auctions!!!
I've collected 50's, 60's, and early 70's records of almost every genre - Psych, Prog, Psychedelic Funk, Soul, Rhythm 'n' Blues, Pop, Folk, Garage, Acid, Freakbeat, Rock, Jazz e.t.c and everything in between for all my life!!! Obviously, 90% of the LP's I've ever gotten hold of are completely trashed from the hard living ways and the rock 'n' roll, drug and booze fuelled debauchery of all the wild parties of the times, but the golden 10%? Reluctantly, I've decided to offer them to all of you serious record collectors out there!!! I'm currently trying to set up a record label so unfortunately personal sacrifices have to be made when it comes to my collection, resulting in GREAT benefits for all you shrewd bidders and serious connosieurs of TRUE solid gold music history out there!!! Make no mistake, I'll try my best to consistently offer some of the VERY BEST records available on ebay, many which have taken me YEARS to find!!!
I aim to put a weekly batch up (time permitting) every Wednesday, all timed to end 10 days later on Saturday night. I'll only ever offer THE BESTMOST AMAZINGMOST IMPORTANTVERY RAREST UK 1ST PRESS ORIGINAL RELEASE RECORDS I've got!!! I won't insult you with later 2nd pressings unless they are of exceptional quality and rarity. I'm sure you love good music as much as me, especially when it's a 1st Press LP, direct from the master tape, as the musicians intended it to be heard (none of this "digitally remastered",weak reissued, remixed rubbish from hired hands with one eye on the mixing desk and the other on the clock! If these session men really knew how genius should sound, surely they would've been geniuses themselves?! There will only ever be one Hendrix, and that's just a tiny example).
I try to be one of the best sellers on ebay and would like to thank all of you potential bidders for your support and taste in music!!! I strictly grade all LP's I list, visually and sonically using the UK RRPG standards as customer satisfaction is highly important to me, and I'll always do my very best not to let you down. Be sure to add me to your favourite sellers list and check my auctions frequently as i'll be listing some gems that you just WON'T want to miss out on!!!
I think that's everything, so let the auction commence!!!

Label & year : Original London PS 402 LP , UK Stereo 1964 OUTRAGEOUSLY RARE Export 1st Press!!!

ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENALLY RARE STEREO EDITION UK LONDON EXPORT WITH OUTRAGEOUSLY RARE WITHDRAWN PROTOTYPE SLEEVE!!! EASILY ONE OF, IF NOT THE VERY RAREST UK PRESSED STONES LP'S EVER MADE!!! HARD ENOUGH TO FIND IN IT’S MONO FORM ALONE, BUT THIS OUTRAGEOUSLY RARE STEREO VERSION IS TOTALLY OFF THE CHART IN RARITY - LESS THAN TEN EXAMPLES OF THIS STEREO WITHDRAWN PROTOTYPE HAVE EVER TURNED UP IN THE HISTORY OF EBAY, WHICH MAKES ME BELIEVE THAT NO MORE THAN 50 TO 100 TOPS OF THIS IMPOSSIBLE STEREO EDITION WERE EVER PRESSED AT THE VERY VERY MOST!!! EVEN THE RSM 1 PROMOTIONAL ALBUM TURNS UP MORE OFTEN THAN THIS UNBELIEVABLY RARE STEREO EDITION PROTOTYPE!!! JUST TRY FINDING ANOTHER!!!

A TRUE ARTEFACT OF IMPOSSIBLY RARE ROCK HISTORY!!! ONLY AN ABSOLUTE MINISCULE AMOUNT WERE EVER MADE BEFORE BEING IMMEDIATELY CHANGED TO THE DAVID BAILEY SHOT WE ALL KNOW AND LOVE (PROBABLY BECAUSE THIS VERSION LOOKS TOO SIMILAR TO THE STONES' DEBUT COVER) AND IT HAS A "CONGRADULATIONS" SPELLING ERROR ON THE BACK!!!

Make no mistake, this was NEVER meant to have reached the record buying public - It simply NEVER turns up!!! MANY PEOPLE DON'T EVEN KNOW THIS EXISTS!!! Barely any DO exist!!! And not only that, although the disc is very used, it plays through GREAT with NO skips OR distortion (and unlike this simply IMPOSSIBLY RARE withdrawn cover, the record itself could be upgraded as a small amount of very very early American issues of 12x5 had this UK blue ridged export disc issued with the standard US pressed No. 2 image David Bailey cover - still rare, but far FAR easier to find than this SERIOUSLY RARE withdrawn prototype cover!!!), and more importantly this PHENOMENALLY RARE withdrawn prototype export proof stereo sleeve still remains ULTRA bright, totally intact and beautifully presentable after all these years!!! NO pieces missing for once!!! IMPOSSIBLE!!!

Be amongst the very ELITE of Stones collectors - just who knows how many years it will be before another turns up, if one ever does!!! Includes the very rare organ version of Time Is On My Side!!! It will surely be a long LONG time before this magnificent OUTRAGEOUSLY RARE STEREO WITHDRAWN PROTOTYPE EXPORT piece of rock history turns up again!!! WITHOUT QUESTION easily THE very rarest UK Stones export EVER!!! Do NOT miss out on this priceless piece of rock history, bid now!!!

Musicians : Mick Jagger - Vocals, Keith Richard - Guitar, Charlie Watts - Drums, Bill Wyman - Bass, Brian Jones - Guitar and everything else!, and Andrew Loog Oldham - Producer.
About : Ultra Rare Original 1964 EXPORT UK 1st Press!!! This MASSIVELY RARE LP initially sold barely anything (LP's were also really expensive to most people back then!!!) and therefore had a very small run, and is INCREDIBLY HARD TO FIND, especially in this condition!!! AN absolute classic LP from this incredible band!!! An astonishing album that really DESERVES to be in EVERY serious 60's / 70's record collection!!! Don't miss out on this MEGA RARE LP!!! If you like good music, bid now!!!
The LP :

Labels :

Classic UK 1st Press blue ridged export London labels!!! Both sides are good with minimal signs of age and NO stickers or grubby marks whatsoever!!! Just has a name in pencil to either side and some usual light spindle marks from general use over the years!!! GREAT for a 54 year old record!!! Both must grade overall as Good!!!

Record : Visual -

Spectacular Original 1964 Withdrawn Export STEREO UK 1st Press Vinyl!!! Nice bright and shiny, it looks pretty worn and not looked after very well, but with NO groovewear or excessively nasty marks that ruin playback at all, and NO vicious gauges either!!! It just has quite a lot of general age use and wear such as some usual light wispy sleeve traces, some small feelable scratches and a few milder hairlines here and there from where general use/poor storage over the years with three vague red smudges on side A (paint? plays through just fine with no skips or jumps whatsoever). Of course, none of these blemishes interfere with smoothness of playback at all thanks to the quality deeply UK pressed 1st export issue!!! Well used and not looked after well, but still presentable for a record of this age and rarity!!! Must grade overall visually as Poor to Fair (playing much better than it looks)!!! (graded STRICTLY to the UK RRPG standards, not overgraded AT ALL!!! Customer satisfaction is of 100% importance to me)

Record : Audio -

Thankfully, it plays through well with fantastic stereo separation and clarity!!! It plays through smoothly with NO hops, distortion, sticks OR skips whatsoever!!! Only has some relatively minor surface noise, passages of clicking here and there throughout (nothing overly drastic - no distortion whatsoever) with a bit of "bluesman's fag" static crackle in places such as between tracks and on the quieter sections, but it really doesn't overshadow the music AT ALL!!! (it's mostly more atmospheric rather than the sound of bacon frying!!!) I'd even argue it gives it added soul!!! Still a very enjoyable listen - The music is TRULY loud and clear!!! GREAT for a record of this age and rarity!!! Must grade overall audiably as Good+ (side A) and Very Good minus (side B)!!! (graded STRICTLY to the UK RRPG standards, not trashed or overgraded AT ALL!!! Customer satisfaction is of 100% importance to me)

Sleeve :

Original UK 1st Press STEREO Export 1964 WITHDRAWN Prototype "Congradulations" unlaminated flipback sleeve complete with original unsplit brown London inner!!! IMPOSSIBLE to find this sleeve in anything approaching a good condition - most are spent, torn and worn due to age and the lifestyles of the buyers of this particular LP!!! This one is NOT, and looks GREAT, especially considering the nature of these fragile sleeves!!! NO nasty tears, NO seam splits, and still strong and solid after all these years!!! Only has some usual signs of ageing such as some creasing and a touch of a record imprint, a small name to the top left of the remarkably clean back with ruffling flaking along the openings (just general storage wear - no pieces missing for once), a little storage wear to parts of the seams from where it has sat on the shelf over the years (nothing drastic at all - no splits and totally readable spine), just a few mild signs of general light ageing such as some minor indents here and there with some minor hints of ink rubbing (virtually nothing), some denting/rounding to the four corners which basically ALL vintage LP's have, and POSSIBLY (just to be sure!!!) one or two other minor signs of age here and there, though nothing that really stands out to note at all!!! And that's truly about it!!! I tend to bring it down by listing the most minor negatives I can find, but this remains a BRILLIANT sleeve, and a TRUE rarity to find one as fantastic as this - most have been virtually destroyed or are just about being held together, but not this one!!! It remains ultra strong, solid, unsplit and unspoilt, ultra bright and undulled, and even the spine remains strong, solid, unsplit and 100% readable for once!!! Must grade overall as Very Good!!! (graded STRICTLY to the UK RRPG standards, not trashed or overgraded AT ALL!!! Customer satisfaction is of 100% importance to me)

Summary : An absolutely UNBELIEVABLY RARE WITHDRAWN STEREO PROTOTYPE example of this IMPOSSIBLY RARE classic London 1964 UK Export LP!!! Hard to find in ANY condition, but SERIOUSLY RARE TO FIND ONE AS BEAUTIFULLY BRIGHT AND PRESENTABLE AS THIS!!! YOU WILL NEVER GET THE CHANCE AGAIN, so don't miss out on this scarce opportunity to own a true piece of 60's/70's music history!!! Bid now!!!

Please take a look at all my other auctions for many other ultra rare classic LPs, and feel free to contact me with any questions you may have. Thanks again for looking, it's truly appreciated!! Cheers!!!

I've realized that most countries have their own unique grading system. I base mine strictly on the UK RRPG grading system (occasionally with a + or a - to indicate the higher and lower ends of the grade, though I only use these if i'm having real trouble deciding!), so please check their chart for further clarity if you are unsure of what my grades mean. As a general rule, a mint record will be 100% perfect, an excellent record will be in fantastic clean condition with the occasional mild mark and minor use from the years, and a very good record will have noticeable, yet light visual markings and obvious signs of age and use, but will still remain clean with relatively light wear and will play fantastically well with plenty of life remaining in it. I very rarely offer records below the very good region unless they are of an EXCEPTIONAL rarity and playing quality...I hope this helps!
