Description

THE BEATLES

'MY BONNIE'/'TWIST CLUB II'

1963 GERMAN MONO LP

**ORIGINAL 1st PRESS COVER**

The Beatles 1st LP, 'My Bonnie', was released in June 1962 in Germany in mono and stereo versions.
For sale here is an original 1st pressing mono cover which houses a copy of 'Twist Club II' LP.
The 'Twist Club II' disc was released in December 1963 with the 'Let’s do the Madison, Twist, Locomotion, Slop, Hully Gully, Monkey' titled cover.
This LP utilised the same catalogue number and identical track listing as for the original 'My Bonnie' LP.
I have not subsititued the LP from another cover - it came to me this way.
(thanks to the 'Bavarian Beatles Store' for their help)

CONDITION

Cover: VERY GOOD PLUS

A clean example of this rare cover which bears some small wrinkles along the edges and some light wear to the opening edge but no tears or missing paper.
There is a slight disc impression but the colours are bright and unfaded with no stains or writing on front or back panels.
There is a 1cm repair to the spine but no paper is missing and all seams are strong, intact and unsplit.

Disc

Labels: NEAR MINT

Visual: NEAR MINT

The disc has clearly only been played a few times and appears 'as new' with no scratches, scuffs or any other visible wear of any kind.
100% flat on the turntable without any dishing or warping.

Audio: NEAR MINT

Superb sound from this high quality pressing with no groovewear, crackle, clicks, pops, jumps or repeats.
A touch of low level noise can be heard at volume between tracks on side 1 only, but this surely a manufacturing error and certainly not play wear.
