I am moving house and now have to sell all my home recording set up'
All the equipment is analogue and not digital. The whole lot probably cost me over £15000. The 16 track reel to reel Fostex is the centre of the set up. The heads are in good condition as it has low usage. I haven`t used it for a couple of years, and the wind back is a bit sluggish with a full reel of tape, but that is nothing major. The monitor speakers which are Klark Teknik and have their own built in 100wt amplifiers cost me over £1500. The mixing desk is 24track and sits on a black steel custom made stand with side slots for all the bits and pieces. As it can also be used for video editing i have thrown in an analogue video mixer and Title generator and sony colour tv monitor. Edit all your home movies and record your own music all together.
There are hundreds of pounds worth of leads. mikes and gadgets, along with books and tutorial videos. and keyboard (korg M1) stool and stand
For the technically minded i have made a list of most of the stuff below. If you buy it bring a little van.
1.Soundcraft spirit 24 track studio desk.(Analogue) 2.Desk consul with 8 space effects rack slots. 3ft 6" deep. 5ft 6" long 2ft 6" high With integral rear shelf for monitor speakers and recorder. 3. Fostex 16track professional tape machine. 4. Fostex remote control unit. Klerk Teknik jade one mark 2 active monitor speakers with their own amps. (Cost bundles) 5. Pair goodmans hi fi speakers.12" base with tweaters. 6.Main desk amp. 7.Ten plug in midi through unit (enables you to plug in 10 instruments at the same time) If you`ve got ten that is. 8. Yamaha TG77 Tone generator (Gives hundreds of presampled instrument sounds) 9. JSH Digital delay unit (Gives you all sorts of delay and effects)10.Alesis quadreverb (echo and delay effects processor 11. vtg 228 Colour video title generator (Gives you all sorts of titles and effects on your home video editing) 12. WJMX12 Video Editor (Panasonic) ( all sorts of effects lap dissolve ect on your vidio editing0 13. Akai s950 Digital sampler (Can sample any sound and reproduce it on the keyboard.14. Sony Triniton 12" tv/monitor. 14.JVC 100wtt stereo amp with radio. 15. Library of discs with every conceivable sound inc. choirs, big bands,orchestras, solo instruments gun shots, background ect.16 Korg MI multi timberal keyboard. (Does loads) 17. Loads of books video tutorials Books on how to record at home. Mikes, earphones,Pounds worth of leads.plugs of every kind.18 Proteos 2 Digital sound modual (Many orchestra sounds.) 19. Yamaha Midi syncronizer (Cant remember what this is for ? it looks like a little count down machine for a nucleor bomb.) Oh yes (With lovely little red numbers counting the midi clock.. 20 Extra pair of heavy duty monitor speakers. 21. Various large reel to reel tapes with loads of original recording on them. (Very interesting to play around with if you can`t create anything yourself.) Don`t ask me to demonstrate it all. It all worked perfectly well at the time I stopped using it two or three years ago.
