Cover;     Ex+ - NM

The unlaminated gatefold sleeve is in absolutely superb condition. The front, back and inside are all still as white as can be hoped for a 30 year old cover with no fading to the colours (for what they are) and minimal grubbiness - very mild foxing on front bottom left corner, so little in fact that the camera couldn't pick it out. No writing, tears, rubbing, ringwear etc. Spine is perfectly square and text fully legible. Square corners except for back bottom left which has received a small knock (see picture 3). No feathering to opening edge. Considering how rare this album is I really don’t think you will ever find better than this.

Vinyl;       NM (visual)        

No warps, scratches, marks. Just some wispy removal lines. Beautiful, jet black sheen on this relatively thick slab of vinyl. Sits perfectly flat on platter.

M- (audio)  

This UK 1st press vinyl has only been played a handful of times ever. Played at high volume on my set up this lays through VERY cleanly with superb dynamics. Just the usual very mild static on the run ins which disappears as the music begins, and then on the run outs. There is very little unwanted on this vinyl at all. No distortion, pops, crackles etc. Extremely well produced and pressed this album has super dynamics - crisp top and full bass with bottom – and excellent stero separation and soundstaging.

Inner;           NM Very clean and correctly date stamped 06/71 in bottom left corner.

Other info; This is the REAL deal – lilac glasses, liquid cherry red droplet from the tap, correct stamped matrices, correct dated inner - all as you'll find described on vertigoswirl.com. Rare by any standards, this is possibly the best copy of this album available anywhere. This is reflected in the reasonably high starting price which in fairness is still buttons for this investment quality album – if you can even find one in this condition! Not in my top 10 swirl list (Sabbaths 2nd-4th, Cressida, Affinity, Ian Matthews 1st, Gravy Trains Peaceful Man, Quo’s Piledriver!!!, Kraftwerk, Dr Strangely Strange) but still a very good album – better than many reviewers suggest.

Record will be removed from original inner and placed inside separate inner and packaged outside of sleeve to prevent knifing in transit. I use cruciform boxes etc and stiffeners/bubblewrap for P & P purposes. This album will be double-boxed for added safety. As a buyer of vinyl myself (see my feedback) you can rest assured that records will be very well packaged to make sure the item reaches you in the condition it leaves me. I take lots of extra photos for full peace of mind for both parties and want you to be as happy with the item as I have been. This is a valuable item and must be sent (fully insured) from Denmark – absolutely no exceptions unless you want to pick up in person.
