Pusmort is a San Francisco, CA based punk/hardcore label founded in 1984, now defunct. This 7? compilation came out in 1987 and showcased some great bands that were relatively unknow at the time.

Brian "Pushead" Schroeder had a knack for finding cool bands and writing about them in his famous articles in THRASHER skateboard magazine. He later said that starting a label and putting out records was just an extension of his music reviews. So much of the music he wrote about and reviewed was imported/hard to find. His label PUSMORT worked to make some of those bands available to the american H.C. audience.
