Description

Miles Davis with his 1956 release "Workin' With The Mikes Davis Qunitet" on Prestige, PRLP 7166. Yellow label with "High Fidelity" and "Long Playing Microgroove" printed on it. Features John Coltrane, Red Garland, Paul Chambers, and "Philly" Joe Jones. Vinyl is in excellent condition for it's age. Lightly played!

CONDITION

Jacket - 7 VG+ (Shows some slight corner wear. Seam at top is starting to split, looks like maybe 1" and that's it. Repairable. Edges look pretty good. Spine is strong and very readable. Name written in pen on back - small, near top - I can send you a photo if needed. Overall, the jacket is rigid and strong. Glossy finish will still display nicely.)

Vinyl - 8 EX (Lightly played album, and has been stored and kept in above average condition for the last 50+ years. The disc shows a few light surface marks throughout, but they will not affect play. Preserved nicely.)

I have replaced the original inner sleeve with a new, lined plain white inner sleeve. I am including the original inner sleeve, which is a rice paper type sleeve and it is rather fragile but still intact.

Here's how I grade:

1 = Poor, 3 = Fair, 4 = G, 5= VG-, 6 = VG, 7 = VG+, 8 = EX, 9 = Nr Mint, 10 = Mint

I RARELY SELL ANYTHING BELOW A 5/VG- GRADE.

VG- (5) : Moderate wear and scratches, maybe a skip or two or three. 

VG (6) : Will have a fair amount of visible scratches/scuffs/playmarks and there is a possibility of surface noise, but no skips.

VG+ (7) : You can tell it's used, but will play through just fine.

EX (8) : Someone has cared for this LP very nicely. Maybe only 1 or 2 blemishes, if any.

Nr MINT (9) : Like new. Almost new. Pretty darn close to new.

MINT (10) : New. Sealed. Pristine.

I CLEAN ALL OF MY RECORDS BEFORE THEY GO UP ON EBAY! Aren't I a nice guy? I use D4 solution and a cleaning brush and finish it off with a microfiber cloth. The LP will be nice and shiny, free of prints, and ready to go directly to your turntable. (*Please remember - cleaning doesn't remove scratches, so please read the grading and condition section carefully)

This includes a brand new 13x13 sturdy cardboard shipping box and bubble wrap. If you would like insurance, PLEASE ASK before sending payment so I can calculate the additional fee. INSURANCE IS MANDATORY ON ANYTHING DOMESTIC OVER $20! You will be charged for it and the reasons are obvious.

I am also more than happy to combine shipping charges at a cost of .75 per additional LP. Take your time and save some money if there are other records that you would like to bid on.

If you are an International Bidder, expect to pay anywhere from $15-$25 for Int'l Shipping.

Sorry - NO RETURNS. I take an extraordinary amount of time to visually grade and package these items. You will get what is described in this listing. If the package is damaged in transit, then you will have to kick yourself for not asking for insurance.
