The Beatles - With The Beatles
I am pleased to offer for sale this truly superb, archival quality example of The Beatles 2nd studio album, With the Beatles.
The vinyl is an extremely rare Decca contract pressing identifiable by the groove approximately 5cm from the spindle hole on the labels. This is a variant that is almost impossible to find in any condition and in virtually unheard of in such superb MINT- condition. An album that would not look out of place in a museum display.

Matrix number: XEX 448 - 7N / XEX 449 - 7N
Vinyl Weight: 170g
As with all Decca contract pressings the vinyl has -7N/-7N matrix numbers. The vinyl does have additional numbers stamped into the dead wax but I am unsure of their meaning.
The labels are the fourth variant in which there are no misprints present. Again, all Decca contract vinyl have these labels.
The front-side laminated Garrod & Lofthpuse sleeve is the second variant identifiable by the double space in the track title for "You Really Got A Hold on Me".
Completing the album is the original polythene lined die-cut EMItex inner sleeve.

The labels are bright, clean and without writing. Only a handful of spindle marks can be seen to either side.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
The record displays superb deep-gloss playing surfaces. In bright daylight a few very light paper scuffs are visible to the surface - none are feel-able. Underneath the glare of a halogen desk lamp a handful of barely visible wispy hairlines can be seen alongside an iridescent rainbow shine.
Sound Quality: MINT -

There is very little to add to the audio clips. It sounds great.
Sleeve: MINT-
The sleeve is in fantastic condition. The laminate is scratch free and retains the original lustre. The cover art maintains deep colours without any fading. The reverse is blemish free. Very difficult to find a copy better than this.
Inner Sleeve: MINT-
The original inner sleeve is almost perfect and attests to the care and attention that this record has seen over the years.
Additional Details:
Before the audio test, the vinyl was cleaned first by an Okki Nokki vacuum cleaner (using L'art du Son cleaning solution) and then an Audio Desk ultrasonic cleaner.
After cleaning, the vinyl is housed inside a brand new mobile fidelity audiophile quality, anti-static inner sleeve.
The vinyl will be packaged outside of the sleeve. The album is stored inside an archival quality polypropylene outer sleeve.
The album will be sent via an insured courier in a padded vinyl mailer.
