This is probably Wes Montgomery's best recording.
I find this pressing to be FAR Superior than any other vintage pressing of this recording I have ever owned. It simply sounds more life-like and REAL than any US, UK, Japan or Audiophile pressing (stereo or mono).
I have owned a great many copies of this recording - This is a true HOT STAMPER pressing (both sides).
The vinyl is extremely quiet and you can hear all sorts of live interaction in the background between the players. The intricate drum and brush work of Jimmy Cobb is another thing that comes out in this pressing. The Bass is extremely clear, as well as all transients in Wes's guitar and Johnny Griffen's sax. I have compared it to NM original DG US pressings, UK fontana pressings, Japanese pressings, 45rpm audiophile pressings... this one bests them all!
LP Condition: Near Mint. The sound is simply so life like!!!
Cover Condition: Excellent. General wear and slight foxing on back.
