Description

Here we have a very very rare Apple Records acetate 7" 45rpm record pressing by the well known British singer-songwriter and musician, Roger Whittaker.[3] His music is an eclectic mix of folk music and popular songs, the latter variously in a crooning or in a schlager style. He is best known for his baritone singing voice and trademark whistling ability as well as his guitar skills. This song was released on the Columbia label with record number DB8752 in February of 1971.
The acetate itself is in only Fair to Good condition, it looks good for its age...nearly 60 years old, with some snaps and crackles but no jumps or skips.  Acetates by their pure nature, were only meant to be played a handful of times, so the sound is still pretty good, and he has a great voice on this recording.

The Labels are typed with some aging...but vibrant with no writing and minor lifting in the middle...there is nothing in the dead wax run-outs, obviously with the Apple/Beatles connection, it adds additional interest recording at the famed Saville Row studio!!
