The Who - Live At Leeds
Original English TRACK pressing of this album released in 1970, the first live album by The Who. It was recorded at the University of Leeds Refectory, and is their only live album released featuring the original line-up of Roger Daltrey, Pete Townshend, John Entwistle and Keith Moon. It follows their 1969 album Tommy. They had previously recorded several shows on tours but were not happy with the sound. This album features hard rock arrangements that were typical of the band's live shows. At the time several music critics regarded this as the best live rock recording of all time.
Very good condition - no warps, scratches, scuffs or spindle marks. The cover and inserts are also in very good condition. There are pictures of 4 inserts that are representative of the content, but there are 12 in total, including a picture of the group and a poster. The album features (?) crackling noises as part of the recording as pointed out by the warning on the labels.
Part of a collection carefully stored and maintained in a friendly environment: no kids, no pets and no smokers. Comes with a clear plastic outer sleeve. Record looks and plays like new. Catalogue Number: 2406 001.
