Rare Promotional copy of The Doors' first live album released in the summer of 1970 titled 'Absolutely Live' (EKS-9002) Much "surgical" editing was done by Paul Rothchild (The Doors' Producer) to help make it seamless and make the "concert" fit on 2 Lps. All 4 members of the band showcase their incredible talents.... I still consider it one the finest live albums ever.
Gatefold Jacket: Very Good +.....not much to fault here aside from the usual corner and ring wear....this was after all a DJ/Radio Station copy. Official Elektra Records promotional sticker at upper right.
Records: VG+ ~ Excellent ......90% of the audio on the 4 sides grade Excellent and occasionally even higher. However, like all vintage records of this age there are brief moments of imperfection . Visually, all 4 sides have light marks, scuffs, and hairlines on the surface of the vinyl....the vast majority are superficial and non-sounding. Both labels are clean and bright. The audio is clear and detailed. A solid playing rare promotional copy of a superb live album by The Doors.
