JELLYBREAD “First Slice” original UK Blue Horizon lp!

1970/UK/Blue Horizon S 7-63853….. here’s an original UK Mono pressing of this rare lp. The laminated cover is in solid VG condition, there are light corner bumps, there are a few very light minor handling creases, laminate is dulled on the front and there is light shelf/ring wear mainly visible on the back cover, solid readable spine and solid seams, no splits, writing or other issues.  The vinyl is in VG to VG- condition, there are lots of very light scuffs/scratches which do pretty much nothing, there is minor light occasional noise, and between tracks but nothing loud or distracting. The vinyl plays well with no skips, sticks or other issues. Nice fidelity. The labels have numerous spindle marks but no other issues. "I can tell you easily enough what we're NOT. We're not a "British Blues Band" Quote unquote; We're not a rave-up soul outfit, we don't play jazz-rock; and least of all are we on a 'progressive' freak-rock scene. As to what we are --well, it's more difficult. Our Chief musical inspiration is the Blues--In the wildest sense of the word.
If you were stuck for a label for "First Slice" you might call it '1970s R & B'. It's a mixture of Bobby Bland, Percy Mayfield revivals and the like with various originals by the group. Recording it was exciting and satisfying for us; hopefully some of that 'good feeling' comes through in the grooves. Just listen--with an open mind; I believe it might make you feel good too. And that's what Jellybread are all about.

MINT: as stated with no defects

M- OR NEAR MINT: as stated near Mint!, or Mint Minus, same thing, very clean with no defect to sound or visual appearance, one scuff or mark may be permitted but it will be mentioned in the description, a near Mint record looks and plays very clean

EXCELLENT: not much below near Mint, may have a delete hole and/or a minor defect or two not visually detracting from the cover, the vinyl will appear shiny and in clean condition with very minor defects not affecting the sound, still very clean and very collectable!

VG++ still a very nice copy with minimal cover wear and/or delete/splits, still visually appealing, the vinyl will retain it's original gloss and can have some minor scuffs/scratches that don't affect play very much

VG+ a little more cover/ring wear and delete, splits etc., the vinyl will still retain much original gloss with a bit more scuffs and/or scratches I may list a very rare or desirable item with a lower grade, I will try to list all defects, both cover and vinyl no matter the condition, I also play grade the records on high end equipment and will give an honest play grade as well as visual grade, considering the number of records I buy on line my grading is very conservative and fair.

AIR POSTAGE TO USA IS $10 ...OR $8 SURFACE IF THE PACKAGE WEIGHS LESS THAN 500 GRAMS(one regular weight pressing).........USA AIR POSTAGE FROM 500 GRAMS TO 1 KILO IS $15 AND SURFACE MAIL IS $12(usually 1-3 lp’s depending on individual weight), I can also send heavier packages to the USA by expedited surface mail, this option includes a tracking number and free insurance up to $100 for $15 to $20 depending on weight, insurance over $100 is $1.00 for each additional hundred dollars.

INTERNATIONAL AIR POSTAGE(depending on destination) UNDER 500 grams is $17 to $20(one regular weight lp), OVER 500 grams is $30 to $36(usually up to 3 lp’s depending on individual weight), SURFACE MAIL IS AVAILABLE OVERSEAS for  $12(500 grams) $15 (500 - 1000 g),OVERSEAS AIR POSTAGE BETWEEN 1000g AND 2000g (usually between 3 and 6 lp’s depending on individual weight) is $49 to $55.

IN CANADA..POSTAGE IS $7 IN Ontario and Quebec, $10 elsewhere in Canada.
