Description

The controversial album cover for The Beatles' "Yesterday and Today" featured the band members in butcher smocks surrounded by raw meat and dismembered doll parts. This "butcher cover" was deemed inappropriate and was quickly replaced with a more conventional image of the band around a steamer trunk. The original cover was a promotional poster and a part of the album's initial release before being recalled by Capitol Records. This record was never purchased back by Capitol Records and is a record and album cover.
