Description
THIS IS A VERY INTERESTING SECOND STATE BUTCHER COVER. IN ALL OUR 43 YEARS IN BUSINESS WE HAVE NEVER SEEN ONE QUITE LIKE IT. THE PASTE-OVER SHEET WAS GLUED ONTO THE COVER OFFSET BY 1/8 OF AN INCH SO THAT IT EXPOSES AT FULL LENGTH THE VERY EDGE OF THE ORIGINAL COVER (12" x 1/8"). YOU CAN SEE A FRAGMENT OF JOHN'S HAND AND COAT SLEEVE. YOU CAN ALSO SEE THE LEFT EDGE OF THE OVAL CAPITOL LOGO.
THIS PARTICULAR SECOND STATE COVER IS PERFECT FOR DISPLAYING IN THAT YOU SEE MORE THAN JUST RINGO'S V-NECK BLEEDING THROUGH. YOU CAN ACTUALLY PHYSICALLY SEE A SMALL PART OF THE ORIGINAL COVER.
COVER: VG to VG+, moderate to heavy wear to the edges and corners with moderate wear to the front and back a one inch split to the top edge in the upper right corner
LABEL: Two pieces of clear tape on the side 1 label The lower piece of tape looks as if there was an attempt to remove it, causing a small bit of damage to the label [see pic] LP: VG+, looks VG to VG+ with several light to moderate scuffs, but plays at a strong VG+ [see play grade below]
A1 - no surface noise detected A2 - occasional light ticks throughout A3 - just a few light ticks toward the end of the track A4 - no surface noise detected A5 - no surface noise detected A6 - a light to moderate tick near the beginning of the track
B1 - very light surface noise occasionally detected B2 - no surface noise detected B3 - no surface noise detected B4 - very light surface noise occasionally detected with one light to moderate tick midway through the track B5 - very light surface noise occasionally detected
