Let It Be Vinyl Box Set PSX 1 1970 UK With Get Back Book.
Play Tested Vinyl:

Released May 8th, 1970.  Catalog number PCS 7096.  Dark Green label with an image of an apple on side 1and a sliced apple on side 2.  "An EMI Recording" text on two lines and small "33 1/3", small (P).  Matrix Numbers:  YEX 773-2U and YEX 774-2U; the original 1st pressing.  Correct original white inner sleeve Patent No. 1.125.555 - Made In England.  Stamped YEX 773 - 2U, 1 at 10 O'Clock, GAR Vertical at 4 O'Clock and YEX 774 - 2U, 2 at 8 O'Clock, GP11 Horizontal at 2 O'Clock.
Vinyl in VG- condition.  Lots of hairlines and light scratches under bright light, but plays fine on a good record player with no skips or jumps.  Some surface noise and wear and tear that is normal for a vinyl record close to 50 years old.  Labels are pretty clean with some spindle marks, but no writing or sellotape.
Sleeve in VG- condition.  Laminated Garrod and Lofthouse Ltd sleeve.  PCS 7090.  Two inch seam split in the middle of the spine.  Some typical creasing, laminate bubbling, ring, edge and corner wear which nearly all copies suffer from.  No writing, cello tape.  Please note this is a GREEN Apple version.  It is often said that the 1st press has only a RED Apple sleeve; but research shows that the 1st pressings were actually made with both variations in a ratio of 6 Red to 4 Green.  This copy has the bluish green GREEN Apple and so could be said to be rarer than the Red.  The sleeve is early because it has the front seam glued to the back cover.

Inner Cardboard Tray - Edge Wear and some minor tears on top and bottom edge.
Inner Book Tray - Missing.  This is the only part of the Box Set that is incomplete. Only some copies came with an Apple Record flyer listing other Apple products and this part of the package was notoriously fragile and poorly conceived.  The fact that it is missing is no surprise and although there are 'reproduction copies' of both items for sale; I would leave that decision up to the buyer.
Book:
Get Back Colour Photo Book with 164 page book and interviews.  This book was only ever issued with the Box Set Edition of Let It Be which was deleted in December 1970 and replaced with a normal LP format without the book which was never available again.  The book in itself is genuinely rare and rather wonderful. As a result it has even been subject to inferior bootleg copies made in Italy during the 1980's; but this is original. Book suffers from poor quality binding glue used in production.  Pages are still together and the pages are in good condition, free of creases or major wear but the cover has detached.  Cover is in VG- condition, some laminate wear and minor creasing and wear to the edge of the spine. Cover could easily be glued in place, but again I would leave that decision to the buyer.   Again consistent with early production this copy is the sticker variant where a sticker was placed inside with publishing credits not known at the time of printing.  It has the black variant first pages as opposed to the white variant.  There were at least three versions of the book with different variations mainly to the credit pages and initial pages.
In all this is an honest, genuine and original 1st press Let It Be Box Set with Book in VG- condition considering it is now nearly 50 years old.

ORIGINAL UK "LET IT BE" BOX SETS

The 2 ends of the "Interior" base, that houses the tray, have a curved tuck-in flap. As these have to be pushed/ pulled to remove the contents, it would be highly unlikely that a NM interior exists. Because the fit is so tight, it is advisable not to store the LP within the box!

Contrary to what one might have read elsewhere, the colour of the APPLE logo on the reverse of the record cover that came as issued with the box sets, were either red or green - 100% guaranteed. Ratio approx. 6 red, to 4 green. Red Apple sleeve albums were also retailed without the box.

There were at least four 'green' print variations of the Apple logo on the cover (...interested?)

The retail price of £2.99 was + £1 more than the standard LP. The book was not to be sold separately by record retailers.
