Beatles Let it be Box set with original Book - Canadian issue catalogue number SOAL-6351 in very good condition.
You are bidding on a really nice copy of the Beatles classic album Let it Be from 1970. This is the original Canadian edition.
The set comes in the original slip case which is in good condition with no splits but usual scuffing on corners. The back of this sleeve contains the wording “Designed by John Kosh Photographs by Ethan A Russel. Disributed in Canada by Capitol Records (Canada) Ltd. Litho in Canada” all along the bottom edge in white text.
The LP - catalogue number is SOAL 6351 – is the correct original pressing for this box set . The sleeve is in good condition made from heavy card – no splits – green apple logo on back and underneath the logo are the words Distributed in Canada by Capitol Records (Canada) ltd. LP spine sleeve also marked SOAL 6351.
Vinyl is in excellent condition - no deep scratches only surface marks and faint hairline marks so plays all through without skips or jumps. The run out grooves on boths side carry Phil and Ronnie mark with Bell Sound sf and scratched out number JS 17500 or 17501. Side 1 has 6351-A and side 2 SOAL 6351 B.
The labels are in mint condition no writing on either side and do not show any spindle wear - see photo.
The 160 page Get back book is in great condition all pages intact none are loose and the copywrite notes on page 3 are missing – showing it is one of the very first pressings - later editions of the book have the copywrite stuff printed on page 3 or stuck in. Book graded excellent - bit of scufing to top of spine but thats all..
The book is housed in a custom built recessed heavy black cardboard holder which holds the book and LP nicely on top all encased in a slipsleeve (these are not original but very good, well made replacements as originals tended to rip and get discarded) all fit nicely and securely into the original outer slip case.
