THE BEATLES Let It Be : Rare 1970 British manufactured box set (book and packaging) containing Australian made LP with red Apple logo on the back inner tray and Get Back book with Australian publishing credits pasted into the original British book all housed inside the fully laminated slipcase picture box. This is how the set was released in Australia - shades of the Sgt. Peppers release.
The Album : Stereo PCSO 7096 with dark green Apple label with YEX 774-3U catalogue number machine stamped into the run out groove. The record is housed inside a picture sleeve with RED Apple logo on the back and is in excellent condition - in fact it appears unplayed. No creasing to the laminate which is only on the front cover.
The Book : The Get Back book is in almost new condition with no loose pages or cracked spine. There are no annotations inside the book. The cover of the book is laminated and despite its age looks barely touched. There is a minor crease in the top left hand corner of the cover and the page that has the pasted addendum is slightly warped from the glue.
The inner tray : The cardboard inner tray which houses the book is as new with no repairs or damage.
Slipcase outer : Despite now being almost 35 years old it remains unblemished with no scuffs scratches or marks aside from some indentations in the top left hand corner probably caused by a biro writing on a sticky label all those years ago. The colours are rich the laminate has no lift or creases.
