  BEATLES RARE 1970 LET IT BE BOX SET EXTREMELY SCARCE CANADIAN RELEASE

Original 1970 Apple 1st pressing with book & outer cover

This is one of the most under rated Beatles collectibles out there, very quickly going up in value since it was never issued in the US. Released in 1970 to coincide with the release of the film, the Let It Be box set was ahead of its time. This is the rare Canadian box set which includes a thick color book packed with color photos taken from the Let It Be sessions and the first pressing of the LP on the Apple label (SOAL-6351). Since the book was too expensive to produce, it quickly went out of print within weeks of the original release and was never released in the US.  Check your price guides on this one, mint copies are going for upwards of $500.

Outside Cover (top left hand corner in photo): is in excellent shape. Only flaw is a slight bend in the bottom right hand corner.       Inside Shell (top right hand corner in photo): is in good shape. The left & right spines are very worn and frayed though.                   Get Back Book (bottom left hand corner in photo): is in excellent shape. The spine is fully in tact, no loose pages. Tons of color photos (200+ pages) from the Let It Be sessions, a really rare book which you can't get anywhere else on its own.                    Let It Be Album (bottom right hand corner in photo):  Cover is in excellent shape, with wear on the bottom spine. The LP is in excellent shape, with a few very light scratches that are visible when held under a light bulb. This is the first pressing of the LP.
