Love Me Do - The Beatles.
This was the very first Red label and numbered only 250 themselves with the JR stamper on side two and 1 G on side 1.
According to legend these are just as valuable as the White ones!"
Well it has 1 G stamper on side 1 and a JR demo stamper on side 2.
Whatever your take on this is, it's got to either be the very very very very first commercially available disk (probably from Brian's shop), or in fact a Demo in sheep's clothing!
Love me do plays with hardly any distracting or noticeable crackling as sounds sonically lovely, which is rare as this means it has not been overplayed.
P.S I love you does have a few clicks but not thuds and plays fine with no hint that the sound will diminish anytime soon.
I haven't cleaned this nor put an anti-static gun to it, but it would definitely improve the great sound still waiting in the grooves.
Label has some damage on side 1 from a removed name sticker most probably.
