*ELEANOR RIGBY* UK 1st pressing - 1966
*Factory Sample* (EMI did not prepare any demonstration discs for this single, so this is the closest you will get to one)
Matrix: Side 1: 7XCE 18395-1 Stamper code: 1/G Matrix: Side 2: 7XCE 18396-1 Stamper code: 5/AO
I have collected factory sample/demo discs over the years. I have others listed along with this one, right now.
Audio:

Could possibly be described as Near Mint, but this has obviously been played and so I have given an EX+ grading. Both sides play with crystal clear sound.
Visually:

In reflected daylight the surfaces have a lovely gloss finish. There are just a few very light non-sounding hairlines. Obviously there are wispy handling lines under a searchlight beam but it would be hard to find a better looking example.

Near perfect with just a small rubbed area on the Yellow Submarine side (as photo). Side one displays a genuine 'Factory Sample' sticker.
Sleeve:

Comes with its original, Type 5, 'Fran The Fan' company issue. Superb condition with nothing more than age toning and light creasing.
