Description
This is the original deep groove RVG-etched “P”-pressing of Thad Jones “The Magnificent” on the Lexington Ave. labels pf Blue Note BLP 1527. The flat rim playing surface is in near-new condition, with a beautiful luster. The coated frame Lexington Ave. cover is in excellent condition – clean and bright throughout; the bottom edge of the back slick has a 5” tape stain; the bottom seam has a nearly imperceptible repair at the center; the bottom edge of the front has 1” superficial wear near the opening. Personnel include Billy Mitchell, Barry Harris, Percy Heath, and Max Roach. $500.00
